SYNOPSIS: Four sisters, Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy live with their mother and try to make ends meet while their father is off fighting in the war.
AUNT SHARON'S TAKE: This story is beautiful and at some points tragic. I didn't like it as much as others of Louisa May Alcott's books, simply because it had some very sad parts in it, and as a teen, I wanted to read happy stories. However, it is a wonderful book, which I think every girl should read at some point in her life.
