Mystic City by Theo Lawrence

SYNOPSIS:  Aria is engaged to marry Thomas Foster.  No one can believe it, even Aria.  Their families are rivals, and she can't seem to remember anything about their relationship since her accident.  As time goes by, and she tries to fill in the missing memories, she finds herself drawn to another mysterious young man named Hunter.  She hopes he can help her to understand her past.

AUNT SHARON'S TAKE:  I had a hard time with this book.  I just get a little irritated with heroines who sit passively by while others take all the risks and dive in front of bullets for them.  Also, there was some language, and quite a bit of violence, as well as a same-gender kiss.  (Or at least it appears that way at first.)  I'd skip this one, or at least save it for older readers.
